THERE IS A HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS TODAY...MAINLY ALONG THE FLORIDA PANHANDLE BEACHES. NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TODAY...ESPECIALLY WEST OF THE APALACHICOLA RIVER. ALTHOUGH GUSTY WINDS ARE POSSIBLE WITH THE STRONGEST STORMS...THE MAIN HAZARDOUS WEATHER THREAT...OTHER THAN LIGHTNING...IS LOCALIZED FLOODING OF LOW LYING AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY... SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED MONDAY...BUT ORGANIZED SEVERE STORMS ARE UNLIKELY. LOCALIZED FLOODING OF LOW LYING AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE.
