THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE WEATHER THIS AFTERNOON INTO THE
EVENING. THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP BETWEEN 1 PM AND 3
PM NEAR OR SOUTH OF A REDWOOD FALLS...TO THE TWIN CITIES...TO
LADYSMITH LINE AND SLOWLY MOVE SOUTHEAST ACROSS SOUTHERN
MINNESOTA AND WESTERN WISCONSIN THROUGH THE EVENING. THE MAIN
SEVERE WEATHER THREATS WILL BE HAIL IN EXCESS OF ONE INCH IN
DIAMETER AND WIND GUSTS TO 60 MPH.

CLAREMONT TO 14 MILES SOUTH OF WASECA TO 21 MILES SOUTH OF MANKATO.
THESE STORMS WERE MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 25 MPH.

RECENTLY...WIND GUSTS OF 40 TO 50 MPH HAVE BEEN REPORTED ACROSS THE
AREA. THESE WINDS ALONG WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL...CAN CAUSE SMALL
TREES AND LARGE TREE LIMBS TO BLOW DOWN.

PEA SIZE HAIL AND WINDS UP TO 50 MPH ARE EXPECTED WITH THESE STORMS.
