THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS THIS MORNING FROM THE ST. LOUIS
METROPOLITAN AREA EAST TO CENTRAL ILLINOIS. OTHERWISE...SCATTERED
THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON AND CONTINUE
INTO THE EVENING HOURS...AND POSSIBLY OVERNIGHT. SOME OF THESE
THUNDERSTORMS MAY BECOME SEVERE AND CAPABLE OF DAMAGING WIND
GUSTS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WILL ALSO BE
CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL.
