...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following rivers in
central and southern Indiana...

  Big Blue River...Buck Creek...Clifty Cr...Driftwood River...Eagle

  River...Haw Creek...Mill Creek...Mississinewa River...Muscatatuck 
  River...Sugar Creek...Wabash River...White Lick Creek...White 
  River...Wildcat Creek...Youngs Creek...


.Widespread flooding continued in much of central and southern
Indiana on Sunday afternoon.  Flooding ranged from minor to near
major levels.  Since Friday evening...rainfall of 2 to nearly 7
inches had fallen in much of the area south of a line from Danville
Illinois to Angola Indiana.  Little precipitation is expected this
coming week.

River flooding along the East Fork of White River...Mississinewa
River and the very upper portions of the White River will be the
highest since the spring of 2011.  Flooding in the remaining areas
will be the highest since April 2013.  Extensive to significant
flooding will occur along much of the White...East Fork White...Eel
and lower Wabash Rivers.  Only lowland flooding will occur along the
Wabash River from Lafayette to Vincennes.

Flooding will last from about a day on very small streams to more
than a week in southwest Indiana.  Flood crests will occur at most
locations by Christmas including in much of southern Indiana. 
However...extensive flooding will recede rather quickly in central
Indiana but persist in southern Indiana through January 30.

Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

* Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
* Record flooding is occurring and Record flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 11.7 feet by 
  tomorrow early afternoon. The river will fall below flood stage 
  Tuesday evening.
* At 11.0 feet...Major flood in progress.  Flooding of a few home in 
  the New Palestine area begins.  Sugar Creek is extensively 
  flooding.  Some local river roads flooded by a few feet of water.  
  Shelby CR 700N may be flooded east of the bridge over Sugar Creek 
  especially if Buck Creek at Acton is 13 feet or higher.  Several 
  homes possibly damaged in western Shelby County.

  650S.

* At 16.0 feet...Extensive flooding along Driftwood River in northern 
  Bartholomew County and of Double Y Saddle Club area.  Tannehill 
  Road west of bridge and CR 325 W south of Lowell Road are flooded. 
  Water is on or very close to Lowell Road and the CR 250 W 
  intersection east of the bridge.  Water is very close or possibly 
  in several residences and seasonal homes along CR 330W and CR 325W.
  Water is deeper on CR 330W just south of Ohio Ridge Rd and CR 500N 
  west of CR 250W.

  ground.  Agricultural levees are threatened.  Poland-Bowling Green 
  Road is impassable in several places.

  water.  High water affects many rural residents...but only a few 
  evacuations are necessary.  Flood waters surround most river 
  cabins.

  flood plain areas on local streams.  State Road 450 just east of 
  Williams is extensively flooded and becomes a recreational area for
  local geese and ducks.  Only the highest campgrounds at Williams 
  Dam are out of water.  Huron and Williams Road (Williams Wooden 
  Bridge road) flooded immediately south of Indiana 450 just west of 
  Williams.  Dillman Road (CR 1000 W)  immediately north of Indiana 
  450 begins to flood. Indiana 450 begins to flood at Coxton Road.

...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following rivers...

  Wabash River...White River...Wildcat Creek...Youngs Creek...

.Widespread flooding continued in much of central and southern
Indiana on Sunday afternoon.  Flooding ranged from minor to near
major levels.  Since Friday evening...rainfall of 2 to nearly 7
inches had fallen in much of the area south of a line from Danville
Illinois to Angola Indiana.  Little precipitation is expected this
coming week.

River flooding along the East Fork of White River...Mississinewa
River and the very upper portions of the White River will be the
highest since the spring of 2011.  Flooding in the remaining areas
will be the highest since April 2013.  Extensive to significant
flooding will occur along much of the White...East Fork White...Eel
and lower Wabash Rivers.  Only lowland flooding will occur along the
Wabash River from Lafayette to Vincennes.

Flooding will last from about a day on very small streams to more
than a week in southwest Indiana.  Flood crests will occur at most
locations by Christmas including in much of southern Indiana. 
However...extensive flooding will recede rather quickly in central
Indiana but persist in southern Indiana through January 30.

Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.
