NORTH CAROLINA...WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA AND UPSTATE SOUTH CAROLINA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE AREA
INTO THE EVENING. THE STORMS WILL BE SLOW MOVING AND SOME OF THEM
WILL DROP LOCALLY EXCESSIVE RAINFALL...RESULTING IN AN ISOLATED
FLASH FLOOD THREAT. IN ADDITION...MODERATE INSTABILITY AND WEAK
SHEAR OVER NORTHEAST GEORGIA AND THE WESTERN UPSTATE WILL LEAD TO
THE POTENTIAL FOR AN ISOLATED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM...WITH DAMAGING
WINDS THE MAIN THREAT.
