SNOW WILL CONTINUE TONIGHT WITH THE HEAVIEST SNOW DURING THE EVENING AS THE FIRST OF A PAIR OF STORMS MOVES ACROSS THE AREA. RAIN IS POSSIBLE IN VALLEY AREAS...AND WILL TURN TO SNOW IN THE NORTHERN AND HIGHER VALLEYS DURING THE EVENING. IN ADDITION TO THE SNOW...SOUTHWEST WINDS WITH GUSTS TO 30 MPH ARE EXPECTED ACROSS HIGHER AND EXPOSED TERRAIN. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY SATURDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT...SNOW AND GUSTY WINDS WILL AGAIN INTENSIFY ACROSS THE AREA BY EARLY SATURDAY AFTERNOON AS THE SECOND STORM PUSHES INTO THE REGION. SOUTHWEST WINDS 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS 40 TO 45 MPH WILL BLOW IN THE MOUNTAINS...WITH STRONGER WINDS POSSIBLE ALONG EXPOSED PEAKS AND RIDGES.
