COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A WEAK DISTURBANCE WILL MOVE OVERHEAD TODAY BRINGING ANOTHER
CHANCE FOR SOME SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON AND
EVENING. SOME MINOR SNOW ACCUMULATION POSSIBLE AT HIGHER
ELEVATIONS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

A POWERFUL STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING RAIN...SNOW...AND STRONG WINDS
TO THE FORECAST AREA MONDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY. A BLIZZARD WATCH
HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR THE EASTERN UINTA MOUNTAINS AS WELL AS
NORTHWESTERN COLORADO WHERE SNOWFALL AND STRONG SURFACE WINDS ARE
EXPECTED. WINTER STORM WATCHES HAVE BEEN ISSUED FOR THE REMAINING
MOUNTAINOUS TERRAIN AS ACCUMULATING SNOW IS ALSO EXPECTED AT THOSE
LEVELS. BY WEDNESDAY...THE STORM WILL HAVE EXITED THE REGION
THOUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING SOME LIGHT SNOW IS POSSIBLE ALONG THE
CONTINENTAL DIVIDE. ANOTHER WAVE IS THEN EXPECTED TO MOVE OVER THE
REGION FROM NORTH TO SOUTH THURSDAY EVENING INTO FRIDAY MORNING.
