.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

HEAVY RAINFALL ASSOCIATED WITH PERSISTENT SHOWERS AND STORMS COULD LEAD TO
SOME LOCALIZED FLASH FLOOD CONCERNS THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS.
THE THREAT WILL BE PRIMARILY FOR THE SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF CENTRAL
ALABAMA...WHERE THE MOST RAINFALL HAS ALREADY FALLEN. AREAS ALONG
AND SOUTH OF A LINE FROM LIVINGSTON...TO CLANTON...TO LAFAYETTE
WILL SEE THE BEST CHANCE FOR LOCALIZED FLASH FLOODING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

PERIODS OF HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CONTINUE THROUGH TUESDAY AS THE
FRONTAL BOUNDARY STALLS ACROSS THE SOUTHERN PORTION OF THE STATE.
MANY AREAS WILL RECEIVE ANOTHER FEW INCHES OF RAIN. THIS PROLONGED
PERIOD OF RAINFALL MAY CAUSE ADDITIONAL FLASH FLOODING AND AREAL
FLOODING. AREA RIVERS WILL BECOME ELEVATED AS EARLY AS MONDAY
AFTERNOON...AND PERSIST THROUGH AT LEAST THURSDAY.

ACTIVATION OF STORM SPOTTERS AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT MAY BE
NEEDED DUE TO FLOODING TONIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY.
