THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHWESTERN
CONNECTICUT...WESTERN MASSACHUSETTS...EAST CENTRAL NEW YORK AND
SOUTHERN VERMONT.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON INTO
EARLY THIS EVENING...WITH THUNDERSTORMS POTENTIALLY PRODUCING
DAMAGING WINDS OF 58 MPH OR GREATER...AND OR HAIL ONE INCH IN
DIAMETER OR GREATER. THE THUNDERSTORMS WILL FORM AHEAD OF AN UPPER
LEVEL DISTURBANCE...AND MOVE EASTWARD AT 20 TO 30 MPH.

THE THUNDERSTORMS MAY ALSO HAVE FREQUENT LIGHTNING...AND LOCALLY
HEAVY RAINFALL THAT COULD PRODUCE PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS AND
POOR DRAINAGE FLOODING OF LOW LYING AREAS. THE RELATIVELY SLOW
MOVEMENT OF THE THUNDERSTORMS...AND REPEATEDLY MOVING OVER THE
SAME AREAS...COULD LEAD TO BANK FULL RISES ON STREAMS...CREEKS...
AND BROOKS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

SCATTERED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE EACH DAY FROM
WEDNESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...MAINLY DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING
HOURS. THUNDERSTORMS WILL HAVE THE CAPABILITY TO PRODUCE LOCALLY
HEAVY RAINFALL AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING.
