THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHWESTERN
CONNECTICUT...WESTERN MASSACHUSETTS...EAST CENTRAL NEW YORK AND
SOUTHERN VERMONT.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE AREA THIS
AFTERNOON INTO THE EVENING. THE THUNDERSTORMS ARE GENERALLY NOT
EXPECTED TO BE SEVERE...ALTHOUGH A FEW STORMS MAY APPROACH SEVERE
LEVELS WITH STRONG WINDS THE MAIN THREAT. THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE
FROM WEST-SOUTHWEST TO EAST-NORTHEAST AT AROUND 25 MPH. SOME OF
THE THUNDERSTORMS COULD PRODUCE WIND GUSTS TO 50 MPH AND LOCALLY
HEAVY RAINFALL...WHICH MAY LEAD TO ISOLATED FLASH FLOODING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY ON MONDAY...MAINLY DURING THE AFTERNOON.
WHILE THESE AGAIN ARE NOT EXPECTED TO BECOME SEVERE...THEY COULD
CONTAIN HEAVY RAINFALL. THIS RAINFALL COULD LEAD TO PONDING OF
WATER OR POSSIBLY EVEN LOCALIZED FLASH FLOODING. A FLASH FLOOD
WATCH MIGHT BE ISSUED LATER TODAY FOR MONDAY.

THERE IS A CHANCE OF MORE THUNDERSTORMS WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY.
