ARIZONA AND SOUTHERN NEVADA.

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS WILL OCCUR AT ELEVATIONS ABOVE
5500 FEET IN SOUTHERN NEVADA AND FAR NORTHWEST ARIZONA TODAY
BEFORE THE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVES EAST TONIGHT. ANY ACCUMULATIONS
ARE EXPECTED TO BE AN INCH OR LESS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

A COLDER AND MORE POTENT STORM WILL DROP INTO THE REGION MONDAY AND
BRING SIGNIFICANT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS TO ELEVATIONS ABOVE 4500
FEET IN SOUTHERN NEVADA AND FAR NORTHWEST ARIZONA THROUGH TUESDAY
AFTERNOON. SEE THE LATEST WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE FOR DETAILS ON
THIS STORM. ANOTHER STORM IS EXPECTED TO FOLLOW ON WEDNESDAY AND
WEDNESDAY NIGHT BUT MOISTURE WILL BE MORE LIMITED THAN THE

A COLD LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL MOVE DOWN THE CALIFORNIA-NEVADA
BORDER MONDAY THEN BE CENTERED OVER SOUTHERN NEVADA TUESDAY
BEFORE MOVING ACROSS ARIZONA TUESDAY NIGHT. THIS SYSTEM WILL LIKELY
PRODUCE LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ON THE EAST SLOPES OF THE
SOUTHERN SIERRA AND WHITE MOUNTAINS MONDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
MONDAY NIGHT. INCREASING SOUTHWEST TO WEST WINDS WILL DEVELOP OVER
THE MOJAVE DESERT MONDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING WITH GUSTS OVER
40 MPH LIKELY OVER NORTHERN SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY AND THE MORONGO
BASIN.
