THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 385
CONTINUES.

SUMMARY...LARGE HAIL IS THE PRIMARY SEVERE THREAT WITH MULTIPLE
THUNDERSTORM CLUSTERS ACROSS THE SRN HIGH PLAINS OF WEST TX.

DISCUSSION...SW-NE ORIENTED MCS HAS EVOLVED ACROSS THE TX PANHANDLE
LATE THIS EVENING.  THIS COMPLEX OF STORMS HAS SLOWLY EXPANDED IN
AREAL COVERAGE AND IS PROGRESSING SEWD AT ROUGHLY 20-25KT.  GREATEST
THREAT WITH THIS ACTIVITY SHOULD BE LARGE HAIL BUT IF FORWARD SPEED
INCREASES THEN DAMAGING WINDS MAY BECOME MORE COMMON.

JUST AHEAD OF THIS MCS A LONE SEVERE SUPERCELL IS DRIFTING SSEWD
ACROSS ROOSEVELT COUNTY NM.  THIS STORM HAS TRENDED DOWN OVER THE
LAST HOUR AND WHILE HAIL MAY CONTINUE TO BE NOTED...WITH TIME...A
SLIGHT TURN TO THE EAST MAY BE NOTED WHICH WILL TAKE THIS ACTIVITY
INTO THE WRN PORTIONS OF WW 385.

FARTHER SOUTH...OLD OUTFLOW BOUNDARY THAT IS DRAPED ACROSS THE
PERMIAN BASIN SHOULD SERVE TO FOCUS A SLOW MOVING MCS AS IT SPREADS
ACROSS THE MAF AREA TOWARD SERN PORTIONS OF WW.  WITH SELY LLJ
DIRECTED INTO THE SRN HALF OF THE WW IT APPEARS STORMS WILL PERSIST
ACROSS THIS REGION WELL INTO THE EARLY MORNING HOURS.
