TEMPERATURES CLIMBING WELL UP INTO THE 90S WILL COMBINE WITH
MODERATE RELATIVE HUMIDITIES TO PUSH HEAT INDEX VALUES UP INTO
THE 100 TO 104 DEGREE RANGE FOR A FEW HOURS THIS AFTERNOON. TODAY
WILL LIKELY BE THE HOTTEST DAY OF THE YEAR FOR MANY AREAS. LIGHT
SURFACE WINDS WILL BRING ONLY LIMITED RELIEF FOR COOLING.

PERSONS WHO MUST WORK OUTDOORS TODAY ARE ADVISED TO TAKE
APPROPRIATE ACTIONS TO MITIGATE AGAINST THE IMPACT OF HIGH HEAT
