SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON
AND EVENING AS UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCES TRACK ACROSS THE
CAROLINAS. A FEW STORMS COULD BECOME SEVERE...WITH A PRIMARY
THREAT OF DAMAGING WINDS. THE THREAT FOR SEVERE WEATHER WILL BE
GREATEST BETWEEN 2 PM THIS AFTERNOON AND 10 PM THIS EVENING.
TORRENTIAL RAINFALL AND LOCALIZED FLOODING WILL BE POSSIBLE...
PRIMARILY IN URBAN AREAS.
