SCATTERED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED LATE THIS AFTERNOON
AND EARLY EVENING. SOME OF THE STORMS WILL BECOME STRONG WITH
FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING AND GUSTY WINDS TO AROUND 40
MPH. LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN WILL ALSO OCCUR WITH 1 TO 2 INCHES IN AN
HOUR WITH THE STRONGER STORMS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

A COLD FRONT WILL APPROACH NORTH CAROLINA FROM THE NORTH FRIDAY
AFTERNOON AND EVENING... BRINGING A RISK FOR A FEW STRONG TO SEVERE
STORMS. THE MAIN THREATS WITH THESE STORMS WILL BE LARGE HAIL THE
SIZE OF QUARTERS OR LARGER... DAMAGING WIND GUSTS OVER 60 MPH...
AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN. ADDITIONAL SHOWERS AND STORMS WITH LOCALLY
