ISOLATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE LATE THIS
AFTERNOON AND THIS EVENING...MAINLY OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN NORTH
AND EAST OF PHOENIX. PRIMARY THREATS ARE BRIEF HEAVY RAIN...OCCASIONAL
LIGHTNING...STRONG GUSTY WINDS...AND LOCALIZED BLOWING DUST IN THE
LOWER DESERT ELEVATIONS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

CHANCES ARE BETTER FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TUESDAY THROUGH
THURSDAY. THE MAIN THREATS FROM THE STRONGEST STORMS WILL BE BRIEF HEAVY
RAINFALL...STRONG GUSTY WINDS AND OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING. THE MOIST
NATURE OF THE AIRMASS WILL HEIGHTEN THE FLASH FLOOD POTENTIAL WITH
ANY SLOW MOVING STORM THAT FORMS.
