THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTH-CENTRAL
ARIZONA...SOUTHWEST ARIZONA AND WEST-CENTRAL ARIZONA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

AFTERNOON AND EVENING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE. THESE
STORMS WILL PRODUCE LITTLE RAIN...BUT THEY HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO
GENERATE STRONG GUSTY WINDS AND SOME AREAS OF DENSE BLOWING DUST...
ESPECIALLY ALONG INTERSTATE 8 AND 10 SOUTH OF PHOENIX NEAR CASA
GRANDE AND GILA BEND.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

PLEASE LISTEN TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO OR GO TO WEATHER.GOV ON THE
INTERNET FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE FOLLOWING HAZARDS.

   EXCESSIVE HEAT WATCH.

HOT AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES COMBINED WITH ABNORMALLY WARM OVERNIGHT
LOWS WILL RESULT IN VERY OPPRESSIVE CONDITIONS. WARM OVERNIGHT
TEMPERATURES WILL MAKE IT DIFFICULT FOR THE BODY TO RECOVER FROM THE
HEAT. OVERNIGHT LOWS ARE EXPECTED IN THE UPPER 80S WITH DAYTIME
HIGHS OF 110 TO 114 DEGREES OVER THE LOWER DESERTS WEDNESDAY THROUGH
FRIDAY.
