AN AREA OF LAKE ENHANCED SNOW SHOWERS MOVING ACROSS SOUTHERN LAKE MICHIGAN THIS EVENING IS PUSHING ONSHORE ACROSS LAKE AND PORTER COUNTIES. THESE SNOW SHOWERS ARE PRODUCING BRIEF PERIODS OF MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW SHOWERS. THERE HAVE BEEN REPORTS OF UP TO ONE INCH PER HOUR SNOWFALL RATES UNDER THE HEAVIEST SHOWERS. IN ADDITION...THERE HAVE ALSO BEEN REPORTS OF ACCIDENTS ACROSS THE AREA DUE TO THE SLICK ROAD CONDITIONS.
