AN AREA OF SNOW SQUALLS ALONG INTERSTATE 80 FROM CLEARFIELD TO LAMAR
WILL DROP SLOWLY TO THE SOUTH THROUGH 7 PM. THIS WILL KEEP THE SNOW
FALLING OVER I 80 FOR MOST OF THAT TIME.

SEVERAL ACCIDENTS HAVE ALREADY OCCURRED TODAY. DRIVERS SHOULD KEEP
AWARE THAT THERE WILL BE QUICK REDUCTIONS IN VISIBILITY WHEN DRIVING
THROUGH SNOW SQUALLS. THE ROADS CAN ALSO BECOME SLICK OR ICY IF NOT
TREATED RECENTLY. DRIVERS SHOULD USE EXTRA CAUTION WHEN DRIVING IN
SNOW.

WIND GUSTS TO 30 MPH ARE POSSIBLE WITH THESE SNOW SQUALLS. THE SNOW
WILL RAPIDLY DROP VISIBILITIES IN THESE SNOW SQUALLS TO LESS THAN A
QUARTER OF A MILE.

THIS WILL IMPACT THE FOLLOWING CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA INTERSTATES...

AT 641 PM EST...A SNOW SQUALL WAS LAYING WEST TO EAST ALONG ROUTE 22
IN CENTRAL CAMBRIA COUNTY AND INTO SOUTHERN BLAIR COUNTY JUST TO THE
SOUTH OF ALTOONA. THE SQUALL WILL MOVE SLOWLY TO THE SOUTH AND WILL
RAPIDLY DROP VISIBILITIES TO LESS THAN A QUARTER OF A MILE. THERE
WILL BE A QUICK INCH OR SO OF SNOW WHICH WILL ALSO MAKE DRIVING
HAZARDOUS...ESPECIALLY ON CRESSON MOUNTAIN.

THIS WILL IMPACT I-99 BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 18 AND 31. THIS SQUALL
WILL ALSO IMPACT THE FOLLOWING MAJOR ROADS...ROUTE 22 FROM THE
INDIANA COUNTY LINE TO EAST OF HOLLIDAYSBURG...AND ROUTE 219 FROM
NEAR SOUTH FORK TO NEAR EBENSBURG.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS IF YOU MUST TRAVEL INTO OR THROUGH THIS
