  EXTREME SOUTH CENTRAL HAMPSHIRE COUNTY IN WESTERN MASSACHUSETTS...

  LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS IN
  EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THE LINE OF STORMS STRETCHED FROM NEAR PITTSFIELD
  IN CENTRAL BERKSHIRE COUNTY SOUTHWEST TO THE BORDER OF 
  LITCHFIELD COUNTY CONNECTICUT AND DUTCHESS COUNTY NEW YORK AND
  FARTHER TO THE SOUTH. THE LINE WAS MOVING TO THE EAST AT 45 MPH.

  NUMEROUS TREES HAVE BEEN REPORTED DOWN WITH THIS LINE.

AT 636 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO 
INDICATE A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FROM HUNTINGTON MA SOUTH TO
SANDISFIELD AND SOUTH TO WINSTED AND SOUTHBURY IN CONNECTICUT. THE 
STRONGEST STORMS WERE NEAR SANDISFIELD AND WINSTED. THE LINE WAS 
MOVING TO THE EAST AT 40 MPH AND WILL BE AFFECTING MUCH OF WESTERN 
HAMPDEN AND HARTFORD COUNTIES.
