CONCERNING...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 863...864...

VALID 081028Z - 081130Z

THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH
863...864...CONTINUES.

A MARGINAL SEVERE THREAT WILL CONTINUE THIS MORNING ACROSS WEST
TX...THE TX PANHANDLE AND WRN KS. WIND DAMAGE AND HAIL WILL BE THE
PRIMARY THREATS BECOMING INCREASINGLY ISOLATED. NEW WW ISSUANCE IS
NOT ANTICIPATED ACROSS THE REGION THIS MORNING.

A NEARLY CONTINUOUS LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS IS LOCATED ACROSS WRN KS
EXTENDING SWD INTO WEST TX JUST AHEAD OF AN AXIS OF INSTABILITY
WHERE MLCAPE VALUES RANGE FROM 500 TO 1500 J/KG. THE LINE IS ALSO
LOCATED JUST TO THE EAST OF AN EJECTING 70 TO 85 KT MID-LEVEL JET
WHICH ALONG WITH A STRONG LOW-LEVEL JET IS CREATING VERTICAL SHEAR
PROFILES SUFFICIENT FOR SEVERE STORMS. AS THE LINE CONTINUES EWD
THIS MORNING...THE BETTER-DEVELOPED BOWING LINE-SEGMENTS WITHIN THE
LINE MAY PRODUCE ISOLATED DAMAGING WIND GUSTS WITH HAIL ALSO
POSSIBLE WITH THE MORE INTENSE CORES.
