WIDESPREAD HEAVY SNOW WILL PERSIST ACROSS SRN NEW ENGLAND AND
SPREADING NEWD INTO SRN ME THIS MORNING. SNOWFALL RATES OF 1-2"/HR
ARE LIKELY WITH LOCALLY 3"/HR.
SURFACE ANALYSIS SHOWS RAPIDLY DEEPENING SURFACE CYCLONE JUST OFF
THE NEW ENGLAND COAST WITH 2 HOUR PRESSURE FALLS OF 8-10 MB OBSERVED
AT 10Z. INTENSE WARM ADVECTION PERSISTS TO THE N AND THEN WRAPPING
NWWD AROUND THE LOW WITH A STRONG N-S SNOW BAND FROM SRN VT/NH INTO
WRN MA/CT. THIS BAND WILL REMAIN NEARLY STATIONARY OVER THE NEXT
SEVERAL HOURS AND WILL PIVOT AS THE LOW CONTINUES NEWD. OBSERVED
HOURLY QPF SUGGESTS 1-2 IN/HR SNOWFALL RATES ARE LIKELY.
HEAVY SNOW WILL SPREAD INTO SRN ME OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL HOURS WITH
