NORTHERN PIEDMONT AND COASTAL PLAIN THROUGH EARLY SATURDAY
MORNING. BRIEF HEAVY RAIN... FREQUENT LIGHTNING... AND SMALL HAIL
WILL BE POSSIBLE.

OTHERWISE... HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ALONG A
NEARLY STATIONARY FRONTAL ZONE THAT IS EXPECTED TO BE LOCATED ACROSS
SOUTHERN AND WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING.
THE MAIN AREA OF CONCERN WILL BE TO THE WEST OF A LINE EXTENDING
FROM WINSTON-SALEM TO SOUTHERN PINES TO FAYETTEVILLE. A FEW OF THE
STORMS COULD BECOME STRONG WITH GUSTY WINDS TO 40 OR 50 MPH AND
LARGE HAIL.

STORMS WERE MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 35 MPH. FREQUENT LIGHTNING...
BRIEF HEAVY RAIN... PEA SIZED HAIL... AND GUSTY WIND TO 40 MPH WILL
OCCUR.

THESE STORMS SHOULD CONTINUE TO AFFECT THE CHAPEL HILL... APEX...
FUQUAY-VARINA... GARNER... CLAYTON... RDU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AND
