HUMIDITY LEVELS WILL ALSO REMAIN HIGH...WITH HEAT INDICES EXPECTED TO TO RANGE FROM 105 TO 114 DEGREES FOR MANY LOCATIONS. A HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR TODAY. PEOPLE NEED TO TAKE THE HEAT SERIOUSLY. HEAT IS THE NUMBER ONE WEATHER RELATED KILLER IN THE UNITED STATES. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON.
