AT 155 AM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THE
LEADING EDGE OF AN AREA OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS 6 MILES NORTHWEST OF
SHOREWOOD-TOWER HILL...OR 15 MILES SOUTHWEST OF ST. JOSEPH...MOVING
EAST AT 35 MPH. ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS WERE DEVELOPING AND MOVING
EAST ACROSS SOUTHERN LAKE MICHIGAN AND PORTIONS OF NORTHERN
ILLINOIS.

PEA SIZE HAIL...WINDS GREATER THAN 40 MPH AND CONTINUOUS CLOUD TO
GROUND LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE WITH THIS STORM. IN
ADDITION...RAINFALL RATES OF 1 TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR WILL BE
POSSIBLE...CAUSING LOCALIZED FLOODING.
