* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  BARTON COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI...  
  VERNON COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL MISSOURI...

* UNTIL MIDNIGHT CDT.

* AT 618 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS THE      
  WARNED AREA.  THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE TO DEVELOP OVER NORTHERN      
  BARTON COUNTY...CREATING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL OVER THE LITTLE 
  DRY WOOD CREEK.

* RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING TO
  OCCUR. CREEKS...STREAMS AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS WILL BE ESPECIALLY
  SUSCEPTIBLE TO THE DANGERS OF FLASH FLOODING.
