PERIODS OF LIGHT FREEZING RAIN OR FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL CONTINUE OVER CENTRAL AND EASTERN MINNESOTA AND WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN INTO THIS EVENING. PATCHY FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL OCCUR ACROSS MUCH OF THE OUTLOOK AREA OVERNIGHT. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO PUSH EAST FROM THE ROCKIES AND INTO THE NORTHERN PLAINS ON FRIDAY AND THEN GRADUALLY MOVE OVER THE OUTLOOK AREA DURING THE WEEKEND. THIS SYSTEM WILL LIKELY BRING A PERIOD OF FREEZING RAIN TO THE REGION FRIDAY NIGHT AND EARLY SATURDAY. HOWEVER...PLENTY OF UNCERTAINTY REMAINS WITH THIS SYSTEM REGARDING PRECIPITATION TYPE FOR THE REMAINDER OF SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. AT THIS TIME...A CONTINUED THREAT FOR MIXED PRECIPITATION EXISTS...INCLUDING FREEZING RAIN...SLEET AND SNOW....ESPECIALLY ACROSS WESTERN AREAS OF MINNESOTA.
