AT 1256 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
CLUSTER OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS 12 MILES SOUTHEAST OF PORT SULPHUR...
OR ABOUT 5 MILES EAST OF EMPIRE...MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 10 MPH.

THE CLUSTER OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT AREAS IN AND
AROUND...BURAS...VENICE AND BOOTHVILLE

THE PRIMARY THREAT FROM THESE STORMS IS PEA TO DIME SIZE HAIL. SEEK
SHELTER IN A SAFE HOME OR BUILDING UNTIL THESE STORMS HAVE PASSED.

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 800 PM CDT
SATURDAY EVENING FOR SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA AND SOUTHERN MISSISSIPPI.

FREQUENT LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THESE STORMS. IF OUTDOORS...STAY
