THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL KANSAS...
SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

SEVERE STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH 3 AM FOR LOCATIONS ALONG AND
NORTH OF A GREAT BEND TO MCPHERSON LINE. LARGE HAIL TO HALF DOLLAR
SIZE AND WINDS TO 60 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THE STRONGER STORMS.

FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE AREA THERE WILL ALSO BE A CHANCE FOR
THUNDERSTORMS. STORM COVERAGE IS EXPECTED TO BE ISOLATED TO WIDELY
SCATTERED. SOME OF THE STORMS COULD BECOME STRONG...PRODUCING HAIL
UP TO NICKEL SIZE AND WIND GUSTS TO 50 MPH. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL
CAN ALSO BE EXPECTED.

MINOR LOW-LAND FLOODING CAN BE EXPECTED ALONG THE CHIKASKIA RIVER
IN SUMNER COUNTY. PLEASE REFER TO THE LATEST RIVER FLOOD WARNING
AND STATEMENT FOR DETAILS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

THE CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS MUCH OF THE AREA
WEDNESDAY...WITH A SLIGHT CHANCE OF STORMS LINGERING THURSDAY.
LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN IS POSSIBLE ALONG WITH SMALL HAIL AND WIND
GUSTS TO AROUND 50 MPH.

THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL RETURN TO THE AREA LATE IN THE WEEKEND
INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK. A FEW STRONG STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE.
