UPPER AIR: A 548 DM HIGH OVER THE ARCTIC OCEAN WILL RETROGRADE NORTHWEST TUE THROUGH THU. A 513 DM LOW WILL FORM OVER NUNIVAK ISLAND ON TUE...THEN MOVE WEST WED THROUGH THU. SURFACE: A 1045 MB HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE ARCTIC OCEAN WILL REMAIN NEARLY STATIONARY THROUGH WED THEN WEAKEN. WEAK LOW PRESSURE OVER THE GULF OF ALASKA WILL PERSIST. PRESSURE GRADIENT BETWEEN ARCTIC HIGH AND GULF LOW WILL INCREASE TONIGHT AND TUE...THEN PERSIST THROUGH WED NIGHT. LOW PRESSURE OVER THE FAR WESTERN BERING SEA WILL WEAKEN.
