THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL
ALABAMA...SOUTHWEST ALABAMA...NORTHWEST FLORIDA...SOUTHEAST
MISSISSIPPI...THE COASTAL WATERS OF ALABAMA AND NORTHWEST FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL INCREASE IN NUMBER TODAY AS A WARM
FRONT DRIFTS NORTH ACROSS THE AREA. THE MORE NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO BE ALONG AND NORTH OF THE FRONT THIS
AFTERNOON ACROSS THE NORTHERN SECTIONS OF THE AREA. A FEW STRONG
STORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN POSSIBLE...GENERALLY NORTH AND EAST OF U.S.
HIGHWAY 84.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

CHANCES FOR MAINLY AFTERNOON SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE
THROUGH MIDWEEK AS THE REGION REMAINS UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF A WARM
AND MUGGY AIR MASS. ANY STRONGER STORMS THAT DEVELOP WILL BE
EFFICIENT RAINFALL PRODUCERS...AND MINOR FLOODING OF LOW PLACES AND
POOR DRAINAGE AREAS WILL BE POSSIBLE.

A STRONG NORTHWEST TO NORTH WIND WILL DEVELOP IN THE WAKE OF THE
COLD FRONT...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORIES MAY BE NEEDED BY FRIDAY AND INTO
THE WEEKEND.
