THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR WEST CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST
FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

...THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL MOVE ACROSS THE AREA THIS EVENING AND
TONIGHT. A LINE OF STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IS EXPECTED ALONG
AND AHEAD OF THIS FRONT...ENTERING THE NATURE COAST BY MID
AFTERNOON...THE TAMPA BAY AREA BEGINNING AROUND 6 THIS EVENING...AND
THEN INTO SOUTHWEST FLORIDA BY LATE EVENING. THE MAIN THREAT WITH
THESE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE DAMAGING WINDS...SMALL HAIL...EXCESSIVE
DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND HEAVY DOWNPOURS. ISOLATED TORNADOES ARE
POSSIBLE IN ANY STORMS THAT DEVELOP OUT AHEAD OF THE MAIN LINE.
EVERYONE SHOULD PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE WEATHER THROUGHOUT THE
DAY AND MONITOR FOR UPDATES TO THIS SITUATION. BECAUSE THIS LINE
WILL BE A NIGHT TIME EVENT...MAKE SURE YOUR NOAA WEATHER RADIO ALERT
FEATURE IS TURNED ON THIS EVENING.

SMALL CRAFT ADVISORIES ARE IN EFFECT AS MARINE CONDITIONS WILL
DETERIORATE TODAY AND TONIGHT WITH STRONG WINDS AND ROUGH SEAS
DEVELOPING AHEAD OF THE COLD FRONT AND PERSISTING BEHIND THE FRONT
THROUGH WEDNESDAY. MARINE CONDITIONS WILL BECOME HAZARDOUS WITH
WINDS INCREASING TO AROUND 20 KNOTS FROM THE SOUTHWEST DURING THE
DAY AND EVENING. WINDS WILL SHIFT TO NORTHWEST AT 20 TO 25 KNOTS
WITH HIGHER GUSTS BEHIND THE FRONT LATER TONIGHT AND WEDNESDAY.
SEAS WILL BUILD TO 5 TO 7 FEET NEARSHORE...AND 6 TO 8 FEET
OFFSHORE TONIGHT AND WEDNESDAY. MARINERS SHOULD CONSIDER REMAINING

THURSDAY MORNING. IN ADDITION TO FREEZING TEMPERATURES...WIND
CHILL VALUES THURSDAY MORNING WILL FALL TO THE MID 20S NORTH OF
TAMPA BAY AND UPPER 20S TO AROUND 30 FROM TAMPA BAY SOUTH.
