...LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AND ISOLATED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE
THROUGH TOMORROW...

.DAY ONE...REST OF THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL PERSIST ACROSS
PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST TEXAS AS DEEP GULF MOISTURE CONTINUES TO MOVE
ONSHORE AND INTERACTS WITH UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCES MOVING ACROSS THE
AREA FROM THE WEST. THERE IS ALSO A SLIGHT RISK FOR SOME ISOLATED SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT. THE PRIMARY SEVERE WEATHER
THREAT WILL BE DAMAGING WINDS AND ISOLATED TORNADOES.

MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE GIVEN THE TRAINING MOTION
OF THE STORMS AND AVAILABLE TROPICAL MOISTURE. ANOTHER 1 TO 2 INCHES
OF RAIN WITH ISOLATED TOTALS UP TO 4 INCHES CAN BE EXPECTED. THESE
TOTALS MAY LEAD TO SOME LOCALIZED FLOODING. A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MAY
BE NEEDED LATER TODAY OR TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL CONTINUE ON WEDNESDAY. THE THREAT OF LOCALLY
HEAVY RAINFALL FROM TRAINING CELLS WILL BE A GOOD POSSIBILITY. ADDITIONAL
RAINFALL TOTALS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE...AND THIS MAY LEAD TO
SOME LOCALIZED FLOODING IF THEY FALL ACROSS ALREADY SATURATED AREAS.
A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MAY BE NEEDED. THERE IS ALSO THE POTENTIAL FOR ISOLATED
STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS. PLEASE CONTINUE TO MONITOR THIS OUTLOOK AND
FORECASTS FOR UPDATED INFORMATION ABOUT THE HEAVY RAINFALL AND SEVERE
WEATHER THREAT.

CHANCES OF RAIN SHOULD BEGIN TAPERING OFF ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THURSDAY
MORNING AS A WEAK FRONT MOVES OFFSHORE AND DRIER AIR WORKS IN FROM THE
NORTH.
