AREAS AFFECTED...WEST CENTRAL TX

CONCERNING...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 329...

VALID 021103Z - 021200Z

THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 329
CONTINUES.

A CONTINUED DECREASE IN SEVERE WEATHER THREAT IS EXPECTED ACROSS WW
329...WITH POTENTIAL FOR PARTS OR ALL OF THIS WW TO BE CANCELLED
PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED EXPIRATION OF 13Z.

10Z SURFACE ANALYSIS SHOWED AN OUTFLOW BOUNDARY EXTENDING FROM THE
ARKLATEX REGION SWWD TO 40 NNW LFK AND THEN WWD TO ALONG THE SRN
PERIPHERY OF THE TSTM CLUSTER IN CENTRAL TX TO THE VICINITY OF MAF
IN SW TX. ONGOING TSTM CLUSTER NOW LOCATED IN THE ERN PART OF WW
329 /SAN SABA TO BOSQUE COUNTIES/ PER REGIONAL RADARS HAS MOVED EAST
OF THE STRONGER INSTABILITY AXIS WITH A DECREASE OBSERVED IN TSTM
INTENSITIES. SLY LLJ HAS ALSO DECREASED IN SPEED SINCE 07Z AS
SUGGESTED BY THE SHORT TERM MODELS.

LOW LEVEL WAA ALONG NOSE OF LLJ MAY SUPPORT TSTMS WITH THIS CLUSTER
AS IT TRACKS TO THE SE EARLY THIS MORNING. HOWEVER...OVERALL
WARMING TREND OF CLOUD TOP TEMPERATURES SUPPORTS WANING SEVERE
WEATHER THREAT AS TSTMS MOVE FARTHER AWAY FROM INSTABILITY AXIS.
