EARLY MORNING CONVECTION TO OUR NORTH AND WEST HAS KICKED OFF SEVERAL OUTFLOW BOUNDARIES IN THE AREA...WITH THE MAIN ONE RUNNING FROM SENECA SOUTHWEST TO MORRIS COUNTY ATTM. THIS HAS TRIGGERED A FEW STORMS UP NORTH...NEARER TO THE SFC FRONT AND THE NOSE OF THE LLJ. STORMS ALSO CONTINUE SOUTH OF THE CWA IN SOUTHEAST KANSAS ASSOCIATED WITH SHORTWAVE THERE MOVING NORTHEAST. TODAY...THINK AT THIS TIME THAT THE FRONT WILL STAY NORTH OF THE AREA TODAY...RESULTING IN ANOTHER DAY OF HOT TEMPERATURES. INCREASED MAX TEMPS A BIT. WILL KEEP AN ISOLD POP IN THE MORNING HOURS DUE TO OUTFLOWS...THEN HAVE KEPT ISOLD/SCT POPS IN THE AFTERNOON AS DESTABILIAZTION OCCURS. DAYTIME STORMS THAT FORM IN STRONG HEATING WILL HAVE POTENTIAL TO BRING STRONG WINDS. TONIGHT...MAIN FRONT RELIES UPON SEVERAL SHORTWAVES TO MOVE SOUTHEAST DOWN THE UPPER RIDGE AND PUSH THE BOUNDARY INTO THE STATE. LOOKING AT WV IMAGERY AND MODEL DATA...IT APPEARS THE MODELS COULD BE A BIT FAST WITH THE FRONTS PROGRESS CONSIDERING DISTANCE OF UPPER SYSTEMS AT THIS TIME. WILL HOLD OFF ON BRINGING FRONT IN UNTIL THE EVENING AND OVERNIGHT HOURS. APPEARS THAT LLJ WILL THEN HELP KEEP STORMS GOING AND HAVE INCREASED POPS MOST AREAS IN THE 6-12Z TIMEFRAME. PWS POOL TOWARD THE 2 INCH RANGE...SO LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL IS POSSIBLE IN ADDITION TO STRONG WINDS.
