MEXICO...SOUTHWEST TEXAS AND WEST TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

STRONG WEST TO SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL PERSIST ACROSS THE GUADALUPE
MOUNTAINS AND THE DAVIS MOUNTAINS... WITH THE STRONGEST WINDS
EXPECTED TO REMAIN ABOVE 6000 FEET. SUSTAINED WIND SPEEDS OF 35 TO
45 MPH...WITH GUSTS NEAR 60 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

STRONG WEST TO SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE GUADALUPE
AND DAVIS MOUNTAINS THROUGH FRIDAY AFTERNOON. THOSE PLANNING TO
DRIVE THROUGH THIS AREA WILL NEED TO EXERCISE CAUTION...ESPECIALLY
IF DRIVING A HIGH PROFILE VEHICLE.

WINDY CONDITIONS CAN ALSO BE EXPECTED ACROSS THE PLAINS OF EDDY
AND LEA COUNTIES IN SOUTHEASTERN NEW MEXICO TOMORROW AFTERNOON.

FIRE WEATHER CONCERNS WILL REMAIN ELEVATED ACROSS ALL OF WEST
TEXAS AND SOUTHEASTERN NEW MEXICO FRIDAY AFTERNOON. ABOVE NORMAL
TEMPERATURES...WINDY CONDITIONS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES
WILL ALL CONTRIBUTE TO RAPID GROWTH AND SPREAD OF ANY FIRE THAT IS
INITIATED.
