NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

LIGHT SNOWFALL WILL BEGIN TO BREAK OUT WEDNESDAY MORNING IN SOUTH
CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA...WITH A BROAD BAND OF SNOW DEVELOPING
ACROSS SOUTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA ALONG AND SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 90 BY
LATER AFTERNOON WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON.  THE SNOW WILL INTENSIFY IN
A BAND FROM WINNER...TO YANKTON...TO JACKSON WEDNESDAY NIGHT. BY
THURSDAY MORNING...THE MORE SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL IS
EXPECTED FROM THE INTERSTATE 90 AREAS OF SOUTHWEST
MINNESOTA...BACK THROUGH FAR SOUTHEASTERN SOUTH DAKOTA.

STORM TOTAL SNOWFALL AMOUNTS WILL BE GREATEST ALONG AN AXIS FROM
GREGORY TO YANKTON TO SPENCER...WHERE AMOUNTS WILL BE NEAR 6
INCHES. LESSER AMOUNTS WILL FALL TO THE NORTH WITH 3 TO 5 INCHES
NEAR INTERSTATE 90...AND AN INCH OR TWO ALONG THE HIGHWAY 14
CORRIDOR FROM HURON TO BROOKINGS.

WINDS WILL INCREASE ON THURSDAY AND WILL RESULT IN BELOW ZERO
WIND CHILL READINGS...AS WELL AS SOME AREAS OF BLOWING
SNOW...ESPECIALLY THROUGH FAR SOUTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA AND
NORTHWEST IOWA.

VERY COLD AIR WILL LINGER ACROSS THE AREA THROUGH THE
WEEKEND...WITH A SLIGHT MODERATION EXPECTED ON SUNDAY.	IN
CONTRAST TO OUR RECENT MILD WEATHER...TEMPERATURES WILL RUN 15 TO
25 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL.  SOME WIND CHILL READINGS COULD APPROACH
20 DEGREES BELOW ZERO ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY.
