AUGUSTINE VOLCANO ERUPTED AGAIN AT 1213 AM THIS MORNING. RADAR
AND SATELLITE IMAGERY SHOWS PLUME WITH THIS LATEST ERUPTION MOVING
EAST SOUTHEAST OVER THE SOUTHERN KENAI PENINSULA AND THE BARREN
ISLANDS. AUGUSTINE VOLCANO HAS ENTERED A PERIOD OF REPETITIVE
EXPLOSIVE ERUPTIONS. IT IS EXPECTED THAT THE CURRENT SEQUENCE OF
EXPLOSIONS MAY CONTINUE FOR SEVERAL DAYS TO PERHAPS TWO TO THREE
WEEKS.
