TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF 

       NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS

EFFECTIVE THIS SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY MORNING FROM 1115 PM
UNTIL 300 AM CDT.

TORNADOES...HAIL TO 2 INCHES IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS
TO 70 MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS.

THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 50 STATUTE MILES
EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 90 MILES NORTH NORTHEAST OF MINERAL
WELLS TEXAS TO 40 MILES EAST SOUTHEAST OF ABILENE TEXAS.  FOR A

SUPERCELLS EMBEDDED WITHIN THE LINE WITH LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING
WINDS. LOW-LEVEL SHEAR AND ABUNDANT BOUNDARY LAYER MOISTURE WILL
ALSO BE CONDUCIVE FOR POSSIBLE TORNADOES.

AVIATION...TORNADOES AND A FEW SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH HAIL
SURFACE AND ALOFT TO 2 INCHES. EXTREME TURBULENCE AND SURFACE WIND
