THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPRINGFIELD HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
  NORTHEAST BARTON COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI.

* UNTIL 700 PM CDT.

* AT 613 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING BASEBALL SIZE HAIL...AND
  DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH.  THIS STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR
  SHELDON...OR 17 MILES SOUTH OF NEVADA...AND MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH.

* THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT MAINLY RURAL AREAS OF
  NORTHEASTERN BARTON COUNTY...INCLUDING THE TOWN OF MILFORD.

FOR YOUR PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF
YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS. THIS STORM HAS THE POTENTIAL TO CAUSE SERIOUS
INJURY AND SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE TO PROPERTY.

THIS REPLACES THE TORNADO WARNING THAT WAS IN EFFECT FOR BARTON 
COUNTY. THE TORNADO THREAT HAS ENDED WITH THIS STORM.
