THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
  UVALDE

* UNTIL 115 PM CDT

* AT 1011 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR            
  INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAIN FROM A THUNDERSTORM NEAR GARNER
  STATE PARK. THE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 20 
  MPH AND PRODUCING RAINFALL RATES UP TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR.   

CAMPERS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR RISING WATER AND MOVE AWAY FROM
SWOLLEN CREEKS AND STREAMS. 

HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND 
STREAMS...COUNTRY ROADS...AND FARMLAND ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND 
STREAMS.

FLASH FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT. MOST FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR
IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS WATER COVERED AREAS. A LITTLE
OVER A FOOT OF WATER CAN CARRY AWAY MOST CARS AND TRUCKS. TURN AROUND

AT 1117 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO 
INDICATE A THUNDERSTORM PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN.  THIS STORM WAS 
NEAR UTOPIA...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH. TWO INCHES OF RAIN HAVE
BEEN REPORTED SO FAR THIS MORNING AT UTOPIA.  ADDITIONAL SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE INTO THIS AFTERNOON. 

OTHER LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE  
KNIPPA...MONTELL...SABINAL...REAGAN WELLS AND GARNER STATE PARK.
