.DISCUSSION...FORECAST FOCUS WILL BE ON THUNDERSTORM CHANCES TODAY
AND TONIGHT.

CURRENT SURFACE ANALYSIS INDICATES LINE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
WITH MCS MOVING ACROSS AREA.  THIS IS ASSOCIATED WITH WEAK FRONT
THROUGH AREA.  THE FRONT WILL MOVE SLOWLY SOUTH AND GET INTO AN
EAST-WEST CONFIGURATION MOD-MORNING.  THERE WILL BE THREAT OF PRECIP
WITH THE FRONT ACROSS CENTRAL PORTION OF THE FORECAST AREA THIS
MORNING AND THE SOUTHERN AREAS ACROSS THE SOUTHERN AREAS THIS
AFTERNOON.

THE FRONT MOVES SOUTH OF AREA TONIGHT AS DRIER MOVES PUSHES IN
BEHIND IT.  TUESDAY LOOKS DRY AND WARM AS RIDGE PUSHES INTO AREA.
THE UPPER AIR PATTERN DEVELOPS INTO A MOVE EAST-WEST PATTTERN
ALLWOING FOR FASTER MOVING DISTURBANCES.

.AVIATION...MAINLY VFR CEILINGS ARE EXPECTED THROUGH TODAY INTO
TONIGHT.  THE EXCEPTION WILL BE IN THE VICINITY OF SCATTERED
THUNDERSTORMS ALONG A COLD FRONT.  THE THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE FROM
NORTHEAST MINNESOTA THROUGH NORTHWEST WISCONSIN DURING THE DAY
TODAY. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WILL HAVE MVFR-IFR CIGS/VSBYS ASSOCIATED
WITH THEM...AND MAY PRODUCE STRONG AND VARIABLE WINDS ALONG WITH
HAIL. S/SW WINDS WILL BEGIN TO VEER OUT OF THE W/SW ON MONDAY.

THUNDERSTORMS WILL LIKELY THIS MORNING ACROSS NORTHWEST WISCONSIN.
THERE WILL BE A CHANCE FOR AFTERNOON SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER
THE ENTIRE REGION.
