THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TUCSON HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTH CENTRAL COCHISE COUNTY IN ARIZONA

* UNTIL 300 PM MST

* AT 100 PM MST...AUTOMATED STREAM GAGES INDICATED A FLASH FLOOD    
  ALONG BANNING CREEK ABOUT 8 MILES NORTHWEST OF BISBEE. DOPPER      
  RADAR ESITMATES THAT THE WEST SIDE OF THE MULE MOUNTAINS RECEIVED  
  UP TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN BETWEEN NOON AND 100 PM.

SMALL STREAMS...SECONDARY ROADS...AND NORMALLY DRY WASHES WILL FLOOD
QUICKLY. DO NOT DRIVE INTO FLOODED AREAS. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.

FLOOD WATERS ARE MOVING DOWN BANNING CREEK TOWARD THE SAN PEDRO 
RIVER. THE AUTOMATED GAGE ALONG NIGHT OWL RANCH ROAD JUST NORTH OF 
HIGHWAY 80 INDICATED A 3 FOOT RISE IN JUST 20 MINUTES. AS THESE 
RISES CONTINUE...ACCESS TO SEVERAL HOMES WILL BE CUT OFF FOR A TIME 
THIS AFTERNOON.
