THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SALT LAKE CITY HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTH CENTRAL GARFIELD COUNTY IN UTAH
  EASTERN KANE COUNTY IN UTAH

* UNTIL 1200 PM MDT

* AT 650 AM MDT...FLASH FLOODING WAS INDICATED BY AUTOMATED 
  GAUGES ON BOTH THE PARIA AND ESCALANTE RIVERS.

* THE FLASH FLOODING IS EXPECTED TO BE MAINLY RURAL AREAS OF THE
  INDICATED COUNTIES.

RAPID RISES OF 2-3 FEET WERE INDICATED EARLY THIS MORNING ON THE 
PARIA RIVER NEAR CANNONVILLE AND ON THE ESCALANTE RIVER NEAR 
ESCALANTE. THESE RAPID INCREASES WILL SLOWLY PROGRESS DOWNSTREAM ON 
THESE RIVERS THIS MORNING.
