THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SALT LAKE CITY HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  KANE COUNTY IN UTAH
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF KANAB

* UNTIL 1200 PM MDT

* AT 430 AM MDT...FLASH FLOODING WAS INDICATED BY AUTOMATED 
  GAUGES ON BOTH THE PARIA AND ESCALANTE RIVERS.

* LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
  ORDERVILLE...MT CARMEL...GLENDALE AND ALTON.

WIDESPREAD RAIN...HEAVY AT TIMES...WILL CONTINUE OVER KANE COUNTY 
THROUGH THE MORNING HOURS.  THE PARIA RIVER HAS PARIA RIVER NEAR 
CANNONVILLE HAS ROSE ABOUT 3 FEET BETWEEN 2 AND 4 AM AND THE 
ESCALANTE RIVER NEAR ESCALANTE IS UP MORE THAN 2 FEET SINCE ABOUT 1 
AND WAS STILL RISING.  MOST STREAMS AND DRAINAGES IN THE WARNING 
AREA WILL SEE HEAVY RUNOFF.
