THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MIDLAND HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  BORDEN COUNTY IN WEST TEXAS

* UNTIL 900 AM CDT

* AT 500 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR DETECTED    
  STRONG THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING HEAVY RAINFALL OVER SOUTHWEST       
  BORDEN COUNTY...15 MILES SOUTHWEST OF GAIL. THIS ACTIVITY IS       
  SLOWLY MOVING NORTHEAST AT 10 MPH. RADAR ESTIMATES INDICATE THAT   
  PARTS OF WESTERN MARTIN COUNTY HAVE RECEIVED UP TO 3 INCHES OF     
  RAINFALL IN RECENT DAYS...SO GROUNDS ARE ALREADY SATURATED. FLASH  
  FLOODING IS LIKELY ALONG FARM TO MARKET ROAD 1054 AND U.S. HIGHWAY 
  180 IN WESTERN MARTIN COUNTY.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS 
IMMINENT. IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNED AREA... MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND 
IMMEDIATELY. RESIDENTS LIVING ALONG STREAMS... CREEKS... AND OTHER

AT 642 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO 
INDICATE A THUNDERSTORMS AND AREAS OF HEAVY RAINFALL OVER NORTHERN 
BORDEN COUNTY. EARLIER THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCED BETWEEN 1 AND 2 INCHES 
OF RAINFALL OVER FARM TO MARKET ROAD 1054 IN SOUTHWEST MARTIN 
COUNTY. RUNOFF FROM THIS RAINFALL MAY RESULT IN FLASH FLOODING.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
