THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
  GILLESPIE
  BLANCO
  KERR
  KENDALL
  BANDERA
  MEDINA

* UNTIL 900 PM CST

* AT 615 PM...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED SCATTERED AREAS
  OF VERY HEAVY RAIN FROM HONDO TO JOHNSON CITY TO CHERRY SPRING TO
  MOUNTAIN HOME...MOVING NORTH AT 20 MPH.  

RAINFALL RATES OF AROUND ONE INCH PER HOUR WERE NOTED.  THIS RAIN IS 
MAINTAIN LOCAL FLASH FLOOD CONDITIONS DUE TO SATURATED SOILS CAUSING 
RAPID RUNOFF.   THIS MAY BECOME A DANGEROUS SITUATION IF RAINFALL 
RATES INCREASE.

  VERY HEAVY RAIN FROM SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE WARNED 
  AREA.

* LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE WARING...SISTERDALE...KENDALIA...
  COMFORT AND BANKERSMITH.

LOCALLY HEAVY RAINS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES ARE EXPECTED IN THE NEXT FEW 
HOURS FROM SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS.  THIS WILL CAUSE FLOODING AT 
LOW WATER CROSSINGS AND IN LOW LYING AREAS.

HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...
