THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
  WILLIAMSON
  TRAVIS

* UNTIL 1100 PM CST

* AT 859 PM...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAIN
  OVER THE WARNED AREA...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH.

AN ADDITIONAL INCH OF RAIN IS EXPECTED ACROSS PARTS OF THE WARNED 
AREA BEFORE THE CHANCE OF RAIN DIMINISHES AROUND MIDNIGHT. RAINFALL 
TOTALS UP TO 3 INCHES WILL RESULT IN ANY ADDITIONAL RAIN THAT FALLS 
BECOMING RAPID RUNOFF. TRAVEL IN THE WARNED AREA IS DISCOURAGED 
THROUGH 11 PM.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT
QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY
IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.

  VERY HEAVY RAIN FROM SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORM OVER THE WARNED AREA.

* LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE ROUND MOUNTAIN...PEDERNALES FALLS
  STATE PARK...JOHNSON CITY AND CYPRESS MILL.

LOCALLY HEAVY RAINS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES ARE EXPECTED IN THE NEXT FEW 
HOURS FROM SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS.  THIS WILL CAUSE FLOODING AT 
LOW WATER CROSSINGS AND IN LOW LYING AREAS.

HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...
COUNTRY ROADS...AND FARMLAND ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS.

FLASH FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT. MOST FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR
IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS WATER COVERED AREAS. A LITTLE
OVER A FOOT OF WATER CAN CARRY AWAY MOST CARS AND TRUCKS. TURN AROUND
