THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DES MOINES HAS ISSUED A

* TORNADO WARNING FOR...
  EASTERN HUMBOLDT COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL IOWA.

* UNTIL 530 PM CDT.

* AT 443 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO. THIS DANGEROUS
  STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR HUMBOLDT...OR 17 MILES NORTH OF FORT
  DODGE...AND MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH.

* THE TORNADO WILL REMAIN OVER MAINLY RURAL AREAS OF EASTERN HUMBOLDT
  COUNTY...INCLUDING THE TOWNS OF DAKOTA CITY...HUMBOLDT MUNICIPAL
  AIRPORT...HUMBOLDT AND HARDY.

AT 442 PM CDT...SPOTTERS REPORTED A FUNNEL CLOUD NEAR HUMBOLDT.

THIS WARNING REPLACES THE PREVIOUS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR 
HUMBOLDT COUNTY.

A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM FOR CENTRAL IOWA.
