A NARROW (30-40 MI) AXIS OF 4-5 INCHES TOTAL SNOWFALL WILL BE POSSIBLE FROM NEAR VOK NEWD TO NEAR MTW BEFORE THE SNOW ENDS AFTER 31/12Z. RECENT WV IMAGERY SUGGESTS THAT 80-90 KT MID LEVEL JET MAX OVER THE CENTRAL PLNS WILL CONTINUE TO AID IN MID LEVEL LOW CENTER INTENSIFICATION OVER NRN MO/SRN IA OVER THE NEXT FEW HOURS. MID LEVEL DEFORMATION ZONE ON THE NRN PERIPHERY OF THIS MID LEVEL LOW CENTER WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP FROM NERN IA NEWD INTO CENTRAL WI. STRONG MID LEVEL LIFT ASSOCIATED WITH INCREASING FRONTOGENESIS WILL OCCUR IN THE 600-700 MB LAYER WHERE THERMAL PROFILE WILL FAVOR DENDRITIC SNOW CRYSTAL GROWTH. LOW LEVEL AIRMASS PER 00Z DVN/GRB SOUNDINGS SUGGESTS THAT SNOW DEVELOPMENT HAS BEEN DELAYED DUE TO RELATIVELY DRY LOW LEVEL AIRMASS. HOWEVER...STRONG /40-50 KT/ LOW LEVEL JET PER REGIONAL VWP/PROFILERS WILL CONTINUE TO SUPPORT STRONG ISENTROPIC LIFT/SATURATION OF LOWEST FEW THOUSAND FEET.
